Suitable for

Project managers, project planners and project team members. Also senior managers, project board members and project sponsors. As a Core Course, this starts at first principles and no previous knowledge is assumed.

Summary
The correct start-up of a project is vital to achieving true business benefit. This course looks at the key elements needed for the successful initiation of a project.

It begins by setting the project within the business environment and then looks at the tools and techniques used to appraise the investment. In addition, consideration is given to how the project is structured and organized. In order to measure success, appropriate indicators are defined to evaluate the project at completion. The course reviews the designation of the success measures and how they are used at the completion of the project.
